Two Living Spaces. One Cohesive Design.

Bonita Springs interior design for a vacation rental is very different from designing a traditional family home. It has to feel beautiful and memorable from the moment guests arrive, while remaining comfortable, functional and welcoming for people with different needs and lifestyles.

For this Bonita Springs property, the vision was clear from the beginning: create an upscale vacation retreat that would stand apart from the typical Florida rental.

What made the project especially interesting was the layout. The property functions as two separate living spaces, allowing guests greater flexibility and privacy while maintaining one cohesive design identity throughout the home.

The Lower-Level Retreat

The lower level was designed as a complete residence of its own—not simply an extension of the main home. With one bedroom, a comfortable living room, an eat-in kitchen, a full bathroom and laundry area, guests have everything they need to enjoy an independent stay with privacy and convenience.

Because this space was created specifically for an upscale vacation rental, every furnishing choice needed to balance style with comfort and practicality. The goal was to make the lower residence feel just as considered and welcoming as the larger home above, while maintaining the same cohesive design language throughout the property.

Bonita Springs Interior Design-Designed for Gathering

Upstairs, the home expands into a spacious three-bedroom residence created with entertaining and larger groups in mind. Two separate living rooms provide guests with multiple places to gather, relax or enjoy a little privacy-an especially valuable feature when several couples or an extended family share a vacation home.

The indoor spaces flow outward to two generously sized, partially covered balconies, creating additional areas for lounging, dining and entertaining while enjoying the Florida lifestyle.

Because the property was intended as an upscale beach vacation retreat just steps away from the Gulf, every furnishing decision had to accomplish more than simply looking beautiful. The home needed to accommodate many guests comfortably, function effortlessly, and still have the elevated feeling of a thoughtfully designed private residence.

Sunset Living, Just Steps from the Gulf

Outdoor living was an important part of the experience, too. One of the home's balconies provides a beautiful place to relax, gather and enjoy the spectacular Gulf sunsets that make this location so special.

Furnished from A-Z

From the beginning, this project was about more than selecting individual pieces. Mopa Design Studio furnished the property from A-Z, creating two distinct living spaces that feel connected through one cohesive design vision.

Every room was considered as part of the complete guest experience-balancing comfort, function and style to create a home that feels welcoming, memorable and distinctly its own.
